Orientation

For new entrants and transfer students the first semester is an exciting experience. First day at the campus is sponsored by the institute, which acquaints students with faculty, staff, facilities and policies of the Institute. An orientation program is arranged after every batch is admitted in which students and their parents are invited.

Counselling

The staff and faculty on the campus are available to assist students in academic and career counselling. The offices of Academic and Student Counselling Departments are primarily responsible for student’s counselling. Individual and Group Counselling is provided on all aspects of career development.

Student Activities

BIZTEK introduces students to new friends. Extra curricular activities foster leadership development, improve skills and encourage characteristics in students required for lifetime. Following student’s organization are operative on the campus.

> Debating Society
> Seminar Society
> Talent Hunt Society

Recreational activities also include participating in sports and games. Sports teams for Cricket, Snooker and Table Tennis etc are trained. Inter-class matches are held under the supervision of the sports officer.

Other activities include holding of Movies, Concerts and Book fairs etc.

Seminar

Holding Seminars is a regular feature at BIZTEK. Important topics concerning Business, Economics and Information Technology are chosen for such seminars. Persons of repute from Academia and Industrial sector are invited to talk on very important topics .

They are held either at the Auditorium or at the open space available at the campus. Persons of repute including Prof. Dr. Shahida Wazarat have already spoken in the Seminars held.

Internship Program

Opportunity to participate in Institutes approved internship is an option available to students. Protocols are being signed with various financial institutions, software houses and industrial sector for internship to be made available to the students. These internships help students become familiar with prospective employers while simultaneously exposing them to the employers for permanent employment after graduation. The organizations offering internships are carefully evaluated and selected by Biztek.

Placement and Career Development

Institute intends to open a center for student services for helping students in job searching. Workshops on resume writing, interviewing and skill assessment will be conducted. Short courses on professional and career development will be arranged for students and professionals for enhancement of their skills.

SERIES OF EVENTS

>	Institute has recently held a series of curricular and extra curricular events like Seminars, held regularly during Fall 2001.
>	Cricket, Table Tennis, and Snooker Tournaments were held.
>	A move night was arranged Concert featuring popular singing group Junoon was arranged at the campus which was heavily attended.
